INSURANCE FROM UNEXPECTED EXPENDITURE

Any additional medical expenditure incurred in the hospital will not be transferred to the patient. Unexpected prolongation of the stay in the hospital will not be added to the patients’ bill. If you will be unable to leave with your planned flight “SANITUS CLINIC” will purchase a new flight ticket for you. The probability of you being unable to reach your planned flight is 1/100.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:

Flight tickets or other transportation expenses to Klaipeda and back home (airport code is PLQ);

Medicine, which is to be used at home

Transportation expenses for possible future complications treatment

Additional accompanying person accommodation and flight tickets, when the patient has to stay in hospital longer than expected.

COMPLICATION MANAGEMENT

MANAGING EARLY STAGE COMPLICATIONS

“SANITUS CLINIC” takes full responsibility for complications arising during initial hospitalization, treatment during the first 30 post-surgery days, irrespective of whether, the hospital/surgeon is responsible for the complication. All incurred expenditure is covered by “SANITUS CLINIC”. The treatment must be carried out at “SANITUS CLINIC” recommended hospitals: Clinicus Klaipėda.

MANAGING LATE STAGE COMPLICATIONS

“SANITUS CLINIC” encompasses responsibility for additional medical measures (including surgical treatment), which is needed in those cases, when the post-surgery condition of the patient significantly affects the patient’s quality of life, except for: lower than expected weight loss, weight gain, or excess skin caused issues. The treatment must be carried out at “SANITUS CLINIC” recommended hospitals: Clinicus Klaipėda.
